As one of the earliest affordable sampler/sequencer workstations, the Ensoniq Mirage was a hugely influential piece of gear when it was released in 1984. Now you can own a bit of its history as an Ableton Live Pack, Kontakt or Logic Instrument.

As one of the earliest affordable sampler/sequencer workstations, the Ensoniq Mirage was a hugely influential piece of gear when it was released in 1984. Now you can own a bit of its history as an Ableton Live Pack, Kontakt or Logic Instrument.

The Mirage has a sound unlike any other. Like similar synths of the era, its design includes both digital and analog components - most notably, a characteristic analog filter. On the digital side the Mirage is powered by an 8-bit sampling engine with 32kHz resolution. With specs like these, the included library will certainly teleport you back a few lo-fi decades.

Puremagnetik's sound design team has dusted off some of the original Ensoniq Mirage floppy disks, and multi-sampled a selection of sounds specifically programmed for Ableton Live, Kontakt and Logic. With 40 Patches to get started with, sound producers can get instantly up and running with this charming throwback to music tech history.

Refraktor Ableton Live Pack includes a library of 40 individual patches with Push-ready Macro programmings, and easily editable rack effects.

Refraktor for Kontakt includes a customized interface for simple and expressive patch tweaking. Instantly dial up modulations or time based effects from within the Kontakt GUI.

Refraktor for Logic includes a collection of Patches programmed with Smart Controls for easy editing and sound manipulation.
