FL Studio wiz Tyler Coffin brings you a fantastic series on sound design using FL Studio synths. See and hear how you can use the various FL synths to make a wide range of both popular and unique sounds!

Tyler begins by welcoming you and goes over the topics covered in this course, as well as info that will help you start moving forward with your synth design, such as the different types of sound synthesis, and a little bit of how they really work.

Throughout this course Tyler uses Harmless, Sytrus, 3xOsc, GMS, Wasp, DX10, SimSynth, BooBass, Plucked, Granulizer and others to design the different sounds and instruments. To start, he reveals how to make one of the most popular synth waveforms, the Supersaw. He shows different ways to use this fat waveform to make huge sounds as well as ways to improve it by adding effects.

Plucks are then shown, and you'll discover different ways to make and use them, followed by the all-mighty Bass sound, where you'll see how to make various patches and fit the best Bass sound for your track.

Want more space? Tyler now goes explores deep and evolving synth Pad creation, followed by cool Synth Growl sound design. Moving on, you'll learn to make a wide range of interesting percussion sounds that will add punch and impact to your productions.

Lastly, Tyler uses everything you just learned by creating a quick demo song containing the sounds you've made throughout the series, which you can also download with this course, and experiment and explore with on your own!
