All nexus 3 & 4 libraries is Working!
      Intel/Catalina

My nexus library is on the other disk. Installing Nexus 4 resets the settings and the library is not loaded, so I rewrite the "settinqs.json" file to the disk address where the library is located.

can you please give an example of what you wrote/coded to correct the problem and get Nexus reading your library.. i am hesitant to install nexus 4 in case it doesn't work.
      thank you in advance

      Example for Dummies:
      1) Find the settings.json file as per instructions. (I have faith you can find it)
      2) Right-click on that file and open with textedit.
      3) Find line where it reads this: "library_folder": “/Library/Audio/Presets/reFX/NEXUS library” and change to your library location.
Example: if your library is on an external drive: “My external hard drive/reFX/NEXUS library” replace default directory within quotes,
this: “/Library/Audio/Presets/reFX/NEXUS library” to this “/My external hard drive/reFX/NEXUS library”
      4) Save file: Go to file, save
      5) Open DAW (Ableton Live, Logic Pro, Cubase or whatever..)
      6) Open Nexus
      7) Done!

Note: To find your pathname, Right-click on your library folder on the bottom bar in Finder and go to: Copy “reFX "as Pathname.

    • I have tried both the symbol link method and pointing in the setting.json file but it doesn't work on my MAC Catalina... Nexus 3 worked with the symbolic link method but now it isn't working for either 3 or 4.

Well, I installed it again, changed the pathway and now it works :-)...

I found the below solution and it works for me

      1) Make sure your DAW is closed
      2) Open your hosts file in Notepad - C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\etc
      3) Paste 0.0.0.0 outh.refx.com to the bottom of the file and click save
      4) Reinstall Nexus (and Vanguard if you have it)
      5) Open your DAW and you should be good to go

I got it to work using little snitch and blocking host path 0.0.0.0 outh.refx.com

Did you edit the settings.json file and direct it to the your Nexus library folder? Once I did that, all the sounds were found.
