Chopped and Screwed is a sample pack installment paying homage to the Hip-Hop sub-genre originating in Houston Texas in the early 90’s, with DJ Screw being a prominent figure in pioneering the sound and spurring the subculture that went with the music. This style of Hip-Hop became known for the way it remixed songs with deejaying and slowed down song tempos. 

Featured on this pack is Houston based Hip-Hop artist Dre Murray with iconic deep down sampled vocals over a bed of soulful remixed tracks that represent the Houston sound authentically. We sought to provide you with tons of tools to build a track with plenty of drum loops and melodic loops with vocals!
