Xfer Records Serum 2 v2.0.20 Revsion [WiN]

TCD | 04 July 2025 | 1.2 GB
The original motivation for creating Serum was to have a dream synthesizer that did not exist: a wavetable synthesizer with a truly high-quality sound, visual and creative workflow-oriented interface to make creating and altering sounds fun instead of tedious, and the ability to "go deep" when desired - to create / import / edit / morph wavetables, and manipulate these on playback in real-time.

TCD Note 1: All the same with Serum 1, if you act a crazy fool
and put approximately 95k presets in total, give or take
many k, then the main menu can stop displaying. This is a
function of XFer, probably by design.
TCD Note 2: Big shout to V.R and -X- for their
previous contributions to this endeavor.
TCD Note 3: To get the internal CPU meter to
display at top left of GUI, replacing the Xfer
logo, add this line to the following file, directly
below the CCForRockers line, and save:
"Enable CPU Graph": true,
%appdata%\Xfer\Serum 2\Serum2Prefs.json
TCD Note 4: Do not manually move VST3 folder if you want
AAX to work, still.
TCD Note 5: Revision is to avoid granular OSC GUI funk.
TCD discovered the fix for this in previous version
but simply forgot completely all about it, this time.
Sincerely glad V.R release does not exhibit the issue.
Fixed.
TCD Note 6: Item #3 does not disappear on its own.
If you set it, it stays set. Maybe something in your GUI
or you are doing resets it but that does not happen on its own.
