Glitchy Systems contains from the scratch designed sounds, bass, drums, leads, fx loops and drums one-shots from various analog and digital sources. These sounds are inspired by Buchla's first modular electronic music system and early electronic music experimentations of the the 1970s. Buchla's equipment was used by pioneer sound designers and composers of the time like Suzzane Ciani.

This kit is made by recording an acoustic drum with an Akai S20 12bit sampler. Some processing where then made in order to keep the sound natural while bringing out the gritty nature of this cheap sampling device. Processed using some analogue hardware and tube compression, the sound is gritty but not lofi, with a solid low end, sharp transients and warm presence for the snares and hi-hats.

All samples are stacked with inspirational, warm and inventive sequence and arpeggiator sounds.
