Patchmaker is proud to introduce a new installment in the Phonk series, bringing you expertly crafted presets for the most popular soft synthesizer, Serum.

Brazilian Phonk has emerged as a dynamic and exciting subgenre within the music landscape, blending the infectious rhythms of Brazil with the distinct sound of Phonk.

In the late 2000s Hip-Hop artists began to incorporate atmospheric horror synth with a heavier style. As a result, new genre born – Witch House. Despite the name, Witch House does not bear similarities to house music, instead applying techniques rooted in chopped and screwed hip-hop, slowed tempos with skipping, stop-timed beats, coupled with elements from other genres such as ethereal darkwave, chill trap and noise.

Drift Phonk is a subgenre of phonk that is characterized by the use of high bass, cowbells and distorted sounds, making the lyrics of the samples often unrecognizable.
