The Gu Zheng
The Guzheng is a traditional Chinese instrument dating from the Qin dynasty (c. 200). It is the ancestor of the Japanese Koto as well as several other zither-like instruments found across east Asia.

A modern Guzheng typically has 21 strings over movable bridges, mounted on a large resonant half-tube box made of wu-tong wood, typically about 1.7m long.

So earlier this year I released the LPCVFREE, a free RE that did some things with CVs that was, well, slow. Really slow. It measured time in bars, from 1 to 100, even if you are working in the transport loop mode.

Ivy is a polyphonic note CV Harmonizer, which is a type of instrument utility device. It listens to the notes you play via MIDI or CV, and creates and a new set of notes to musically harmonize with the original notes you played.

The CV8X4 rack extention is an 8 knobs unipolar (0 to 127) CV generator.

Each knob has 4 CV outputs and a tape strip.

LPCV FREE is a light CV device that only does one thing: it goes from one value to another. The catch is that it can take a really long time to get there. Like super long. The time range goes from one bar to one-hundred bars.

This is a nasty bit of equipment that offers a deeper, more hands on approach to noise generating. We have taken the, oft neglected, tiny corner of the oscillator section and expanded it out. Giving you the ability to morph between levels of randomness in frequency and amplitude, as well the shape of the waves themselves. The result is a tone that begins ‘white’, but soon descends into some strange and wonderfull landscapes. It wont be long before you will be creating your own sounds with the HazeMate, but just to get you started we have also included a set of combinators that utilise the different paths this HazeMate can be used. From evolving textures, to full glitch drum sets. From modular synth setups to atmospheric sound effects setups.
