Latest Flume's album just blows minds. Highly inspired by the new sound of him we decided to create a "Hi This Is Flume"-inspired drumkit. To achieve that perfect, polished sound we've been recording, layering, synthesizing, and heavily processing lots of different sounds to get as close to 'Flume' feel as possible, at the same time giving you heavy hitting drums.

With the sounds dialed in for all of the players, it's time to start laying down some takes for the first song. In this episode, you'll watch as Matt and the band:

The feature of this library is the high flexibility of using any vocal phrase, as well as the ability to mix it with other phrases regardless of the tempo and the key of your project. More than that, using any MIDI keyboard, you can instantly switch to any sung syllable. Additional Oneshot syllables located in a separate area on the keyboard make it possible to create an almost unlimited number of new musical phrases.

Rwanda is a beautiful East African country with rich cultural and musical histories, which Splice was lucky enough to briefly experience. We visited the Land of a Thousand Hills with a field recorder, capturing a wide variety of unique sounds intended to provide a small taste of the Rwandan cultural landscape through audio.

Caleb Spaulding (percussionist) and Levina Li (filmmaker and producer) travel together to Marrakech, Morocco to record the sonic landscape of the robust city. Caleb and Levina meet and record local musicians performing traditional Berber instrumentation, and also travel around the city recording environmental ambiences + found sounds.

In 2019, Splice sound designers recorded the sounds of the Splice HQ office in New York City, featuring tape dispensers, sugar packets, paper cutters, staplers, and more. The sounds of the office are presented both in raw, natural recordings, as well as sound designed loops to show how then can be used to create unique musical elements.

Noir Sound - The Music Library is a collection of original compositions designed specifically for producers. The kit includes 17 fully mixed & arranged samples in multiple styles, tempos, and genres, 11 original Percussion loops & 22 One Shot Drum Hits.
