Sonic Academy's very own Phil Johnston is with us this week as he shares a ton of tips and tricks when getting to grips with mixing. Aimed at beginners but super useful for all abilities Phil takes an in-depth look into how to get your tracks to shine, focussing on what you're trying to achieve when mixing your projects and how to get the right result you're after.

The library is based on 23 tenor saxophone samples with tempo and key information. Each phrase is usually between 1 and 4 bars long. All phrases are played on the same harmony pattern and can be easily combined with other instruments, playing in the same key. This makes it easy to create a complete song arrangement. The phrases are based in the jazz genre, but they also work great in other genres like pop, chill or blues.
